Extension of Award-Winning ThoughtManager for Palm Users Adds Two-way Palm to Windows Synchronization of Outlines and Project Plans

 

East Palo Alto, CA. Jan 23, 2002 -- Hands High Software, Inc. a leading publisher of personal organization software for the Palm Computing platform announced today that it is shipping ThoughtManager Desktop for Windows, the latest addition to its award-winning ThoughtManager product line.

 

ThoughtManager is an easy-to use software package that organizes ideas and notes into outlines and checklists. This new desktop version adds a Windows component to the ThoughtManager product line, enabling users to synchronize and download outlines developed on the desktop to the Palm or Palm to desktop for mobile reference.

ThoughtManager Desktop shares a similar interface on both platforms. Users working on either the Palm or Windows can quickly create hierarchical lists that can be collapsed, expanded and rearranged by dragging and dropping. Checkboxes can be shown or hidden to turn any outline into a checklist or project plan. Modifications may be made to either the Palm

version or desktop version, and the changes are automatically transferred to the other platform when the user presses the Palm’s HotSync button. ThoughtManager Desktop also imports and exports Microsoft Word outlines and documents.
