New Features in Memo PLUS 4

General Features

• Support for high resolution screens, including Sony Palm OS 4.1 devices and all Palm OS 5 devices.
• Support for expandable screens from Sony, AlphaSmart and Handera.
• Send memos through infrared, SMS and Bluetooth.
• Alarms can show notes or drawings in the alarm screen.
• Alarms can be displayed on the OS 4.0 alarm list, or individually.
• Templates are easier to organize and access
• Templates are alphabetized
• For certain Palm OS versions, Memo PLUS notes can be beamed to Palm OS devices that do not have Memo PLUS installed.
• Add text to a drawing. Even choose FontBucket fonts for the text you add.
• FontBucket now includes support for hi-res Palm OS 5 fonts.

List View Features

• Appearance Manager allows you to alternate colors in the memo list, or choose a background color.
• New sorting options include sorting alphabetically, by modification date, creation date, category, or manually.
• Easier finger selection -- tap a memo title with your finger to go to it.
• Lookup feature to scroll quickly by the name of a memo.
• QuickLauncher lets you launch your favorite applications by holding down the memo button.
• Password protected memos can be visible, masked or hidden.

Note Features

• The Note View now gives you access to all the note features. Edit the title of the memo from the Note View.
• Notes can be encrypted using DES encryption, offering better protection than the Palm OS security settings.
• Notes can be sent to your email program, or to a Doc file.
• Notes can be printed using either PalmPrint, Teal Print or PrintBoy.
• Preference to choose whether or not to automatically change the title of a memo when the first line changes.
• Date and time stamp can quickly be added.
• Improved alarm editing screen makes setting an alarm easier.
