Logging a Call is Simple and Quick
PhoneLog is an easy to use tool integrated with your PalmPilot. When you log a new call, your list of phone numbers from your address book automatically pops up. Simply select the
number you want to call, and PhoneLog automatically records the person, the company, the phone number, the date, and the time of the call.
PhoneLog Features
- Create custom type and subject lists to easily categorize your calls.
- Time your calls by simply tapping the Start button.
- Take notes for each call to keep track of what you talked about and what you need to do.
Managing Your Calls
PhoneLog lets you quickly view or sort your calls by date, type, contact, or subject by tapping the sort menu at the bottom of the main screen. Checkboxes are provided to help
you track who you've called, or what calls you expensed or reconciled with your statement.
Use PhoneLog to:
- Create a checklist of people you need to call back
- Create a list of people you have left messages for, and for whom you are expecting a call back.
- Log conversations with a particular person, or with a group of people about a particular subject.
- Sort and review phone calls for easy prioritization
- Track business calls that you make away from the office for expense reports or tax purposes
- Time your phone calls if you bill your phone time to your clients
- Keep a history of phone calls to compare against your end of month statement
