Viewing the Call List

The List View shows you the calls you have entered. You may view the call list in a number of ways as described below.

By choosing Preferences from the Options menu, you can set options that control the display of the various lists.

The Name Order option controlswhether names are shown and sorted by first name or last name.

The Lists Show option controls whether the various lists display the subject of a call, or the phone number called.

Viewing by List

Select "List" from the popup menu at the bottom of the List View to show your calls sorted by date and time they were recorded. Each line will show the date, the contact name, and either the subject discussed, or the phone number.

View by List

Clicking on an item will take you to the Edit View to see the detail for that item.

Viewing by Type

Select "by Type" to show a list of all the types of calls made. Tapping on an item in the list will expand it to reveal the date, name and either the subject or phone number of each call.

Viewing by Contact

Select "by Contact" to show a list of the people you have contacted and their companies. Tapping on an item in the list will expand it to reveal the date and the subject of each call for that person.

Viewing by Subject

Select "by Subject" to show a list of all the subjects you have discussed. Tapping on an item in the list will expand it to reveal the date, name and phone number of each contact made for that subject.

By using the popup subject list when entering the subject for each call in the Edit View, you can ensure that your subjects will be spelled and categorized correctly.

Select "by Company" to sort and view your calls by company.

Showing and Hiding Checked Calls

The small checkbox next to the New button controls whether checked calls or shown or hidden. When this box is checked, all calls that have checks next to them are shown. Likewise, if this box is not checked, all calls that have checks next to them will not appear in the list.

Note that when checked calls are hidden, and you are viewing the list "by Company", "by Subject", "by Contact", or "by Type", only headings that have unchecked calls will be shown. In other words, if you are viewing "by Contact", and you have checked calls hidden, and Joe's calls are all checked, Joe will not appear in the list.


Also, if you are hiding checked calls, and you check-off a call, that call will immediately disappear from the list.

Filtering by Category

To filter your calls by category, select the category you want to display from the popup menu in the upper right corner of the screen. You will then only see calls, for that category.
