HANDS HIGH SOFTWARE'S THOUGHTMANAGER 2.0 WINS EDITORS' PICK AWARD FROM MOBILE COMPUTING AT COMDEX
EAST PALO ALTO, Calif., Nov. 27, 2000 -- Hands High Software's ThoughtManager 2.0, a personal idea organizer, manager and note-taker for the Palm platform, was among the winners for "Editors' Pick" honors at the recent Comdex show from Mobile Computing magazine. The company is headquartered here.
The editors stated: "At $20, ThoughtManager 2.0 adds the ability to share outlines with other ThoughtManager users and the ability to save outlines as templates. Users of the program also can now attach notes and drawings, select fonts and use color Palm systems."
ThoughtManager 2.0's predecessor product, Hands High's ThoughtMill 1.0, was the 1998 runner-up for top Palm program of the year from ZDNet and PC Magazine. It garnered a five out of five star rating from ZDNet and four out of five from Tucows, the company reports.
"It's an incredibly versatile tool, " says its creator, Shannon Pekary, president of Hands High Software. "It adds personal idea organization, project management and note-taking capability to the Palm's versatility. ThoughtManager requires Palm OS 3.0 or above and 220 KB free space on a Palm compatible device, including the Handspring, Visor, Sony Clie', and IBM Workpad. It can be downloaded and installed from a Windows, Macintosh or Unix computer. ThoughtManager is available immediately for $19.95 from the Hands High Software Web site.
