ORGANIZING SCHOOLWORK IS EASIER FOR RETURNING STUDENTS THANKS TO HANDS HIGH SOFTWARE'S NEW THOUHTMANAGER FOR STUDENTS
East Palo Alto, Calif. Aug. 8, 2001 – Getting ready for school can be a lot more fun if students carry Hands High Software's new ThoughtManager for Students, a powerful new program for organizing homework, taking notes,
gathering research and much more. The educational tool works with the Palm Computing platform and costs less than $20, the company announced.
ThoughtManager for Students helps users get homework assignments in order, create study items – like "flash cards" for vocabulary -- or test concepts and take notes in class using an outline format for easy
reference. It comes with more than 25 outlines of information useful to students. The product ensures that students always have homework information, class notes and resources in the palm of their hand.
Students can use the new tool to create and share outlines of group projects, create compositions, experiments, field trips, interviews, etc. ThoughtManager's use is unlimited, says Hands High Software, a leading
supplier of personal organization software for Palm platform devices.
Free downloadable outlines include resource outlines with tips for searching the web, multiple meaning words, graphic organizers, punctuation tips, SAT and GRE words, test-taking skills and others.
ThoughtManager for Students is the latest of Hands High Software's educational product series, joining ThoughtManager for Teachers, introduced earlier this year. Both products are available directly through Hands High or
through Palm Computing, which will bundle both products in its own CD offering for the educational market.
All of Hands High's ThoughtManager products offer easy drag and drop outlining to organize thoughts fast, multiple file folders in which to organize and store different kinds of outline files, print support and many other
time-saving utilities. In addition, notes and drawings such as maps, diagrams and graphics can be easily attached to outlines. A template feature makes it easy to recall an outline to create new outlines for
research papers and homework-related tasks.
ThoughtManager for Students requires Palm OS 3.0 or above and 220 KB free space on a Palm compatible device, including the Handspring, Visor, Sony Clie', and IBM Workpad. It can be downloaded and installed from a Windows,
Macintosh or Unix computer.
